Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera features rosettes of thick, fleshy, lance-shaped leaves that grow from the plant’s base. Mature plants may produce offsets, known as “pups,” which can be separated and replanted to propagate new plants. When in bloom, Aloe vera produces tall flower spikes adorned with tubular, yellow or orange flowers. Aloe vera has a long history of medicinal use, dating back thousands of years. The gel found inside the leaves contains various bioactive compounds, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants, which contribute to its healing properties. Aloe vera gel is commonly used topically to soothe sunburn, skin irritation, cuts, and burns. It is also found in many skincare and cosmetic products for its moisturizing and soothing effects.
